I've had several cats that developed UTI's, and if caught early it's an easy thing to treat.

I remember that cranberry juice helped the healing with ours. Check with your vet, maybe it will help in your case as well.

Keone and I pray for Feeny and you.

Get well Feeny. The worst time we had was at the emergency vet with one of our baby boys. We had to leave him and when I kissed him goodby I really never thought I would see him again. That was a Saturday night and Monday am we pulled him and got him to our local vet.
Hope your emergency vet clinic is better then ours was.

Home now.

He's an outside cat who comes into the house a couple of times a day. Today, I noticed on the floor a couple of small pools of mostly clear liquid that showed pink on a paper towel and he was doing a lot of cleaning on his hind end. About an hour later, he's trailing tiny drops that appeared heavily tinged with blood. Naturally, I thought UTI.

The vet said she suspected a wound on his left rear leg, leaking bloody serous fluid. She was very careful with the anesthesia and never got him completely sedated and he was fighting being handled. Shes said she noticed an odor which suggests an incipient infection which could lead to an abscess.

My wife did say she noticed an odor over the past couple of days when he comes in but attributed to his rough and tumble in the woods behind our home. He's been working on an infected wound. He's probably felt terrible but never betrayed it.

He's wearing a cone and he's got antibiotics, NSAID and tomorrow he gets an anti-anxiety med I'm to give him two hours before bringing him back to the vet in the afternoon, and they'll see if they can sort it out then. He's staying inside for now. I'm so sick of this Goddamn cold weather.

Here he is on his personal vinyl-backed beach mat which must first be draped on any furniture he wishes to climb onto, by order of the mistress of the manor. He's OK with that.

Beautiful cat! I love orange cats. I'm down to one. One orange cat that is, my daughter and I have many cats.

We have one that actually goes back and forth between my house and her mom's house. She loves both places.

Yes for the good news!

Therefore, I motion that:

1) Feeny is the official feline of SigForum, in perpetuity

2) Besides the original SF logo, any SF related/affiliated merchandise must include Feeny's officially rendered likeness, to be determined

3) The "enough of the cat pictures" should be renamed as Feeney's Page, haters beware

Can I get either a second or an Amen Cool
