Canada Retaliates With 25 Percent Tariffs on $155 Billion Worth of US Imports
Trump signed an order to impose 25 percent tariffs on goods from Canada and Mexico, as well as a 10 percent levy on China on top of existing tariffs.

U.S. House Speaker Mike Johnson praised Trump’s tariffs, saying the president is positioning the United States to be “safe and successful again.”

“Today, he is holding Mexico, Canada, and China accountable for their role in the flow of illegal aliens and illicit drugs across our borders. These countries are now on notice to work quickly to stop the madness,” he said on Feb. 1.

Texas Gov. Greg Abbott warned Trudeau against any retaliation that my impact his state.

“Careful Trudeau,” Abbott wrote on social media Feb. 1. “The Texas economy is larger than Canada’s. And we’re not afraid to use it.”

Newsies this morning talked about Dems blaming Kamala's failure on "racism and misogyny."

Interestingly, the Dems have elected a white guy as their new chair....

Good! We do not want them to learn a single lesson from this last election. We want them to double and triple down on the stupid and crazy.

That has been my observation too and confirmed by the past two weeks. The Trump of four years ago was more accommodating to the swamp and trying to be diplomatic with the Left. He was also being distracted by all the hoaxes, investigations and impeachments. He was burdened by Pence, two imbecilic attorneys general and various and sundry other flaccid appointees. He and the American public needed a cleansing by fire to arrive at turbocharged Trump and a resolute public with a clear understanding of the contrast. Today we see a confirmation of as a man with a mission and a public thirsty for a comprehensive correction. The result will be far better than where we would have been had Trump remained in power in 2021.

Imagine for a moment, Pence running for president against any democrat opponent. He’d have been a far greater disaster than Kamala was for the dems. We actually might have had her or Lucifer Newsom in power right now. As it stands today, we’ll be blessed for our long suffering with Trump and then God willing, Vance for 8 years. Maybe Ramaswamy on deck…. It could happen.

The Pentagon has changed its policy on media outlets accessing office space in the coveted "Correspondents Corridor". Starting on Feb 14th, NBC, the Hew York Times, NPR, and Politico will be kicked out of the space and replaced by One America news network (OANN), Breitbart, the New York Post, and HuffPost. Needless to say, NBC and others are not happy Big Grin.

A friend of mine, who is involved with the Catholic religion, told me that the church receives 80% of it's income from these resettlement programs.

This is almost too good to be true, so I am skeptical. However, audits will confirm the claim, and you can bet that there are plenty of people in the federal government who would love to catch Elon Musk in a lie of this magnitude, so, it's probably true.
