Musk "Disappointed" By Trump's "Big, Beautiful Bill" As DOGE Exposes More Fraud, Waste, & Abuse

Elon Musk had ambitious plans when he took the helm of the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), famously pledging to slash at least $1 trillion in government waste. Back in February, we noted that while Musk's mission in Washington, DC, was admirable, the ultimate cost savings would be decided by Congress.

Fast forward to Tuesday, Musk appeared in a CBS News interview where he voiced his disappointment, citing frustration that despite DOGE's efforts to root out waste and fraud across federal agencies, President Trump's "Big, Beautiful Bill" (BBB) comes with an alarmingly high price tag.

"I was disappointed to see the massive spending bill, frankly, which increases the budget deficit, not just decreases it, and undermines the work that the DOGE team is doing," Musk said.

He added, "I think a bill can be big or it can be beautiful ... but I don't know if it can be both. My personal opinion."

Last week, the Republican-controlled U.S. House of Representatives narrowly passed the BBB that fulfills much of Trump's 'America First' agenda, such as delivering new tax breaks on tips and car loans and boosting spending on the military and hemispheric defense.

As we've previously explained, BBB will "massively" increase deficits by $3.8 trillion over ten years. In part because new borrowing is front-loaded and offsets are back-loaded, the bill would add massively to near-term deficits.

The prospect of a ballooning national debt—despite DOGE's reported $175 billion in federal waste and fraud reductions—has put Musk at odds with Trump's BBB and, more notably, with Congress. His frustration appears primarily directed at lawmakers, whom he sees as unwilling to implement the sweeping fiscal cuts needed to course-correct that nation to avert a debt crisis.

We predicted this clash between Musk and Congress would unfold as far back as early February:

"What Musk is doing in trying to streamline the govt is admirable but ultimately it will be Congress that decides the endgame. And there things are as status quo as always."

Musk is not alone. Rep. Thomas Massie (R-Ky.) has stated, "We're not rearranging deck chairs on the Titanic tonight. We're putting coal in the boiler and setting a course for the iceberg."

There is brewing dissent among other Republican senators who follow Musk...

Musk must be furious with Congress.

Recall what he said last week, "The ability of Doge to operate is a function of whether the government, and this includes the Congress, is willing to take our advice."

"Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible."

FBI declassifies secret document revealing dramatic development in hunt for origins of Trump Russia probe

“A contractor has been accused of making false claims to Congress about the origins of the probe into claims Donald Trump colluded with Russia in the 2016 election.

Nellie Ohr, who worked for strategic intelligence group Fusion GPS, was accused of falsely testifying to Congress in a newly declassified FBI document from 2019.

The allegation, obtained by the Daily Mail, reveals the bureau's Office Federal Public Corruption squad in Washington was tasked with reviewing a Congressional Criminal Referral accusing Ohr of obstructing an investigation and providing Congress with demonstrably false information.

Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley responded to the document’s release with a strongly-worded statement.

'By lying to Congress, Nellie Ohr showed contempt for congressional oversight and the American people,' he told the Daily Mail.

A Congressional criminal referral accused Ohr for falsely testifying that she did not have any knowledge of an ongoing investigation of President Trump's connections to Russia and she denied sharing her research on Russia with individuals outside of Fusion GPS. …”

Anyone remember Nellie Ohr's husband Bruce?

He resigned from DOJ while under investigation for his role in pushing the Steele dossier...

ICE arrests illegal Mexican migrant for allegedly threatening to assassinate Trump

https://justthenews.com/govern..._campaign=newsletter

Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary Kristi Noem on Wednesday confirmed Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officers have arrested an illegal Mexican migrant who threatened to kill President Donald Trump.

The man, identified as 54-year-old Ramon Morales-Reyes, allegedly handed a note with the threat to an intelligence officer the day before his arrest, where he vowed to shoot the president before deporting himself back to Mexico.

Morales-Reyes has allegedly come into the United States illegally multiple times, ICE officials said, and has a long history of criminal behavior. He will be held in Wisconsin pending his deportation, according to Breitbart.

“We are tired of this president messing with us Mexicans — we have done more for this country than you white people — ” Morale-Reyes allegedly wrote in the note. "You have been deporting my family and I think it is time Donald J. Trump get what he has coming to him.

"I will self-deport myself back to Mexico but not before I use my 30-ought-6 to shoot your precious president in his head — I will see him at one of his big rallies," the note concluded.

No need to self deport Ramon. I’m sure the DOJ will arrange transportation for you when you get out.

Other than lying under oath, what's the significance of her getting a ham radio license? Is there a theory she used her radio as part of her involvement in the Steele dossier?

IIRC, it was something to do with the NSA not being able to monitor ham radio traffic. I don't run in those circles, but I just find it hard to believe a middle aged, female political hack has a sudden interest in the ham radio hobby. Very fishy.

I wouldn't exactly call, "I'm guessing it is 2015, but I don't remember exactly." when it was really 2016, lying under oath.

Is there another angle with regard to the Ham license? It's certainly possible with this traitor, but going after her for perjury on the aforementioned comment? I think they can do better than this.

Cyberpunk behind HUD AI video of Trump kissing Musk’s feet was on taxpayer-funded union time: whistleblower

https://nypost.com/2025/05/29/...-time-whistleblower/

https://x.com/Craig1843992/status/1928106734872109124

The cyberpunk who hacked into the television system at the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) in February to display a vile, AI-generated video of President Trump kissing the feet of Elon Musk breached the department during taxpayer-funded union time, a whistleblower has alleged.

The hacker — whose name has not been made public because the matter is still under investigation — was identified by the feds earlier this year as a high-ranking official at the American Federation of Government Employees (AFGE) Local 476, a union that represents HUD and other government workers, the whistleblower told Sen. Joni Ernst (R-Iowa).

“Reports of union bosses playing childish games and illegally engaging in partisan political activity while on the taxpayers’ dime are the latest in a string of concerning allegations against HUD employees in recent years,” Ernst told The Post.
