How does it avoid the "racial fallout"? You can sue a protected class, but you can't arrest them and incarcerate them?

Financially, I'm sure this new revenue stream will be completely above board and go to worthy causes in Chicago.

There was a time when Chicago gangs received funding thru grants, from a number of national social programs established by Sargent Shriver and the Rockefeller's in the 60-70s, as they attempted to 're-brand' themselves as community outreach organizations. Roll Eyes

Can't remember if it was Black Disciples, Latin Kings or, Vice Lords...irregardless, anybody with two brain cells could see this was a sham and after awhile, low & behold, they REALLY are a violent organization. Not sure if these gangs are as large as they used to be but, if they're anywhere close, they've got legal help, squirreling away money, property and 'investments'.

Are these gangs in Chicago that organised? Am I to believe there is a Stringer Bell type, business savvy kingpin running the show there? Maybe I don't give them enough credit.

Fort now goes by, Abdul Malik Ka'bah a devout Muslim. I think he was also the founder of the el Rukns. I think he got government handouts from politicians courtesy of hard working tax paying chumps like me. It’s a very good thing I have no power.

Can’t we, and I know this is a radical measure,
But can’t we lock them away someplace where they are unable to do anymore harm to society. No plea bargains, no short terms, no 3 strikes. We could call this place something like jail or prison.

I mean I realize I am speaking crazy talk and all but…….

I guess if prosecuting them is off the table then suing to seize assets makes sense in theory. Not sure how deep the pockets are on 15-25 year olds with little going for them beyond repping the 'hood and slangin.

What is Chicago’s conviction rate for assault, rape, murder in its various forms, drug possession and distribution? My sense is that it’s abysmal.

If you can’t investigate, prosecute and convict crime successfully, how will you be successful civilly?

If Soros installed Crook County DA Kim Foxx has to be on board with this I doubt it will ever happen.

When attempted by serious people, maybe. But as CPD SIG has noted from within that zip code, these are not serious or even intelligent people attempting to run Chicago. This is nothing but another scam to try and avoid doing what is necessary to get the issues Chicago is facing under control.
