as long as there are two valves , I don't care weather they are knobs, dials or levers. but! there is an exception this one actually moves up and down to control the amount of water coming out. as well as rotating left and right to control the temp. its fine as well Safety, Situational Awareness and proficiency. Live long and prosper |
Back in the late 70s my family moved to Europe and my bathroom had one of those faucets. Never seen or heard of one before. Nobody bothered to explain how it worked. I moved it right and left a thousand times and cursed the damned thing until my throat went dry. Took me at least 6 months until i figured it by accident. 0-0 "OP is a troll" - Flashlightboy, 12/18/20

You must have been that guy waving frantically and cursing up a storm in front of the touchless faucet in the men's restroom at O'Hare.

As previously mentioned, they are easier to turn on/off with the back of the hand, or an elbow. Also, most are easier to clean than 2-handle faucets. Life is too short to get worked up of these kinds of things, IMO.

Went to Ireland a few years ago, stayed in B&Bs. All the bathrooms - every B&B - had not only two valve, but two spigot faucets. One valve/ spigot for cold, a separate valve/ spigot for hot. I found that very annoying. Thus the metric system did not really catch on in the States, unless you count the increasing popularity of the nine-millimeter bullet. - Dave Barry "Never go through life saying 'I should have'..." - quote from the 9/11 Boatlift Story (thanks, sdy for posting it)
