driving a Corvette in the rain? Big Grin

Good news is, the top and windows are tight and it didn't leak on me. Wipers work good too.

American muscle don't retreat to the garage just because of a little sprinkle. Get it out there and do some fishtailing!

I think you'll have to find a guy with an SRT-10 and buy him all the gas he can burn for a month!

Oh, I see you are in Maine. Nevermind...

I was sorely tempted but the opportunity didn't arise. The main drag in town is (finally...) being resurfaced and it's all ground down, grooved and full of holes.

Only place I would have dared from a law enforcement point of view is too narrow, no shoulders and rougher than thunder.

Back in college, I drove my friend's father's 1964 Stingray about 50 miles north of the Twin Cities on the Interstate in an ice storm. Positraction. If I kept it to 35mph I could control the fishtailing, but it was embarrassing to be passed by everybody.

Should be a penance for NOT driving a Vette in the rain. We live in 4 seasons. I regularly go out if raining on the weekends and hit my corners out in the country. Life is short. Enjoy it!

If he’s also driving in the rain that won’t be much money in gas and even assuming his injuries are minor it’s gonna take way more than a month to get that Viper out of the shop. Smile

My Cooper [convertible] sees rain often. Even stopped leaking now that I've finished replacing the rear window.
My Midget has not been driven in the rain since I've had it. Would probably need a wetsuit, even with the top & windows up Razz

My 57 never sees rain.

Wipers don’t work. I’ll get to it. One day.

My 18 month old BMW 430i convertible has seen rain one time. It received a wash job when the weather cleared.

Oh, trust me, I do. Drive AND enjoy. In fact, I feel a little spin coming on later today.

I just went for a ride in a new 2024 Vette, less than 50 miles on it. The guy, not married, decided it was time to blow a little $$, over $100k.

It was cool, don’t think I need one though. Just for the heck of it, I took a few pictures if needed for a dating app. For some reason chicks like high end cars.
