So the setup of my house to understand the situation. The back of my property backs up to a greenbelt that’s bout 50 yards deep and then there’s the sidewalk and road beyond that. My backyard is fenced up to the greenbelt. It’s typical Alaskan, mixture of spruce and hardwoods, very thick and pretty much impassable. There’s a utility easement between mine and my neighbors house where the trees were cut down when the neighborhood was built.

So working out in my front yard this morning digging out the juniper bushes I planted 5 years ago when I moved in that died off over the winter. Replacing them with some larger evergreens. My dog’s inside supervising everything from my second story bedroom window when I hear him sound the alarm.

Look behind me and here’s a blonde trophy wife in yoga pants standing in the middle of my front yard behind me waiting for her band of crotch goblins to push their bikes up the easement, around my fence and across my front yard.

“Can I help you?”

“My kids just got tired riding their bikes so we decided to cut through.”

“Really? And bushwhacking them up the hill and through my yard is easier than riding another block to the entrance of the neighborhood?”

“Well it would’ve been if you hadn’t have planted all these bushes and trees.”

“Did you ever think that’s why I planted all these bushes and trees?”

I can hardly wait for my neighbor to tell me about all the bitching and moaning that will take place on the Next Door app.




My daughter can deflate your daughter's soccer ball.

I took down the contaminated soil sign as well. There used to be mining back there and they did not clean it up very well. EPA is following up.
