I just talked to La-Z-boy to get a recliner repaired. They want to do a video call with the repairman prior to the service call so he can see the issues and get specifics from me. The idea being he will have the specific parts with him when he shows up and be able to fix it on one trip. Great plan and I'm onboard with it. First available video appointment is in 3 days so we schedule it. Less then an hour later, I get a text to rate the repair service. “We truly live in a wondrous age of stupid.” - 83v45magna "I think it's important that people understand free speech doesn't mean free from consequences societally or politically or culturally." -Pranjit Kalita, founder and CIO of Birkoa Capital Management

I filled one out a few months ago, for a product I was highly disappointed with. I gave them a 1 out of 5 rating and explained in detail why. It never did appear in the Ratings section on the product web page. So fuck `em, I just won't buy from them again. The ones I've been getting lately are mostly from doctors' offices. Usually they're sitting in my email and/or text message queue by the time I get home from the appointment. <Delete>

I'm sick to death of the assumption by everybody I deal with that my time and effort are not worth anything. Unless it's someone who really did an outstanding, over-the-top job, I don't answer. _________________________ “Good intentions will always be pleaded for every assumption of authority.
