And if it's your property, you should be allowed to do that. I don't see how it's anybody else's business provided it's on your own lawn. Wonder if I could use that to have the teens’ cars towed when the neighbors kids have a party and they park with some or all of a tire on my grass?

I live in a community that has an HOA. There are covenants and bylaws, neither of which can be changed/added/removed without a majority vote of the homeowners. I would check your original copies for a similar rule.
The ability for Karen's to unilaterally add rules is concerning. I know the Karen's in my neighborhood would LOVE to add rules, and they try, but the vast majority of homeowners wouldn't stand for this nonsense.

Fuck fuck fuck fuck HOAs. The losers who run them were the ones who found being on the PTA at their kids school too much to handle. Not that I'll ever afford a house at this point but thank goodness HOAs aren't terribly common around here.

V Tail, the Florida legislature actually addressed some of this in the last few years. The whole garbage can thing got to the point where you had an extremely limited window to put it out and get it in regardless of the fact that you have no guarantee of when the garbage men arrive or that you might work for a living. They actually made it a law that garbage cans now have a fairly generous window before they can be fined/warned etc. Maybe there is hope for us HOA people. Lol

My wife's sister lives with one in Georgia; they even dictate what color your curtains can be as seen from the road.

VT state of FL passed new laws regarding HOA's in Florida, no HOA can say anything about parking to a resident, you can park anywhere you want on your property that doesn't violate city/county rules/laws.
