Us, too. But the vote happens at the HOA meeting with only those in attendance voting. Many of the owners here are part-time, and may not even be here when meetings occur. We agree to abide any future rule changes, and have the opportunity to vote on them.

So far our HOA is really good on most things, and no Karens. If anything, they're too lax on enforcing some things like RV parking has to be out of sight, and there's no simple enforcement for things like violating no commercial construction on Sundays and no outdoor owner construction noise on Sunday. One neighbor had their driveway repaved on a Sunday and it ruined a family gathering for us, but the first violation only gets a nastygram. So nobody cared because the job was finished.
