Well, good for me to hear about all the things everybody else has experienced after retirement.

I’m planning,(hopefully) on retiring mid 2026, just trying to save a bit more and increase the SS benefit a bit more by then. Plus I have a bad habit of wanting new toys here and there, lol.

I’m going to find out eventually if I get bored not working, but I think I’ll enjoy not having to worry about having to work for a while at least.
Hubby still has a few more years before his retirement, but he’s also dreaming about not having to deal with his work sometime. We have enough things to keep us busy around the house, plus hobbies, so it might be a while before we get bored to even think about a part time job later on.
