His Royal Hiney |
You do realize that the ones secure in their marriage relations can joke about it and the ones who have bad marriage relationships are the ones who try to project they're the dictator whose word is law? You do know that, right? "It did not really matter what we expected from life, but rather what life expected from us. We needed to stop asking about the meaning of life, and instead to think of ourselves as those who were being questioned by life – daily and hourly. Our answer must consist not in talk and meditation, but in right action and in right conduct. Life ultimately means taking the responsibility to find the right answer to its problems and to fulfill the tasks which it constantly sets for each individual." Viktor Frankl, Man's Search for Meaning, 1946.

Is your wife named Wilma and you bellow for your dinner when you come through the door? Icarus flew too close to the sun, but at least he flew.

Nope… I have been married for 31 years now, and my wife does NOT control me or the household!!! Never has, and never will… ____________________________ Bill R. North Alabama _____________________________ I just can't quit grinnin' from all of this winnin'!

Paul, I feel you. Been on that end more than once where I was thinking “I could have shut up and today sure would have been a better day”. Ryan, you’re a pretty cool guy. IIRC, you’re newly single after a bummer divorce. Lay off Paul. Calling a man as much your senior as he is an “underling” in a relationship you know nothing about is not just rude, it’s pretty damn disrespectful. I would have expected better based off many of your posts I have read. The “lol” thread
