At the suggestion of forum member SleepLa8er, at the bottom of the first post of this thread I added a link to a video showing how to remove the stuck slide of a P320 from the frame (fire control unit) if we make the mistake of removing the takedown lever before taking off the slide.

Please note that the video is for the information of anyone who may need it. I cannot vouch for how well the procedure works because I'm not going to make that mistake myself (at least not again ).
