I love the gun but hate the polymer trigger. Any opinions on The Apex or any other suggestions? A slightly sub 1k gun with a cheesy trigger! -------------------------------------—————— ————————--Ignorance is a powerful tool if applied at the right time, even, usually, surpassing knowledge(E.J.Potter, A.K.A. If you’re referring to the M&P Metal Competitor, then I can wholeheartedly recommend the Timney trigger for this gun. https://timneytriggers.com/alp...or-smith-wesson-m-p/ While the factory trigger is pretty good, the Timney is just ever-so-slightly better in terms of feel and how it breaks the shot. I’ve shot 4 or 5 Steel Challenges matches with it so far, and feel like it was worth the investment.

Apex triggers have always been mandatory for every M&P I’ve owned. Night and day difference imo. "Attack life, it's going to kill you anyway." Steve McQueen...

The Apex trigger requires judgment on what spring force to install. It is NOT the trigger, physically, but the tiny little sear and springs that make a difference. ------- Trying to simplify my life...

I switched to overwatch precision triggers in my m&p's. They are superior to Apex IMHO "Dyin ain't much of a livin...boy"
