S&W Competitor trigger opinions.
I love the gun but hate the polymer trigger. Any opinions on The Apex or any other suggestions?

A slightly sub 1k gun with a cheesy trigger!

If you’re referring to the M&P Metal Competitor, then I can wholeheartedly recommend the Timney trigger for this gun.

While the factory trigger is pretty good, the Timney is just ever-so-slightly better in terms of feel and how it breaks the shot.
I’ve shot 4 or 5 Steel Challenges matches with it so far, and feel like it was worth the investment.

Apex triggers have always been mandatory for every M&P I’ve owned. Night and day difference imo.

The Apex trigger requires judgment on what spring force to install. It is NOT the trigger, physically, but the tiny little sear and springs that make a difference.

I switched to overwatch precision triggers in my m&p's. They are superior to Apex IMHO
