Yeah, the Kavanaugh debacle was simply the Left trying to hold up the process until after the mid-terms and hope they take the Senate. They were able to make it painful with RINOs like Flake, but really had no power other than the MSM / SJWs to attempt this process. Now, they have even less power with 53-47, so the RINO wet blankets have zero power (Romney, Collins, Murkowski). But they will yell / scream / kick for sure. Even more so if it happens late 2019 or early 2020 before the Pres, since the 'rule' alluded to by Cocaine Mitch refers to a 'lame duck' President, which Trump wont be unless he loses in Nov 2020. They will brand her (whoever she is) as a racist based on a 1992 law-school-era photo of her celebrating a birthday in some Mexican chain restaurant, wearing a sombrero and blowing out the candle on brown cupcake. She will also be a dangerous and unreliable drunk because of the half-empty daquiri glass in the same photo, and a homophobe because she RSVP'ed "regrets" to the "commitment ceremony" of her second cousin in 1996. And all any of this will accomplish is a) another Trump-appointed conservative Associate Justice and b) we'll have more glaring evidence that the left has actually gone drooling, crapping-themselves and babbling "My Old Man's a Mushroom" insane to the point of impotency. | |||
