SO MUCH FOR SOCIALISM: Beto Won’t Share His Funds With Other Dem Senate Candidates

https://www.dailywire.com/news...s-other-hank-berrien

"Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible."

Oh, you say that, but Obama did exactly the same thing - don't you remember Schumer and Pelosi raising hell about that in '12 and '14? That's how (Democrat) leaders roll!

Well, I have seen a few Beto signs, but none for Cruz. I confess that does not particularly worry me, though. I doubt that lawn signs are a very effective medium for affecting votes.

Not in a Senate race with lots of TV and radio advertising, but in a local race they are important. If you don't have much name recognition but your yard sign is suddenly all over the neighborhood, people who aren't very into politics notice. They go into the voting booth thinking "Oh, that guy.... with all the signs.... well, people must like him."

As I mentioned earlier, I think Balze Halze is absolutely correct about complacency. But the 'yard signs' I'm seeing in my neighborhood have been going up lately in series in the verges of roads rather than in front of individual houses. I'm concerned because a Senate seat is in play, but - again, in my neighborhood - I'm not seeing enough enthusiasm to justify anything like panic. So far, at least, I think a calm, deliberate, steady effort will be enough to win pretty handily as long as the effort is kept up and followed through on (if that's proper English).

Thanks--I just found it and am watching.

ETA: I watched the last half of the debate and did not see any "ass-kicking", per se--I was not impressed with Beto's stance on most issues (and hopefully, neither will other Texans), but Cruz did present his case well.

Donated to the RNC and quite a few Senators, Cruz being one of them. Yesterday I got one of those emails from Lindsey Graham and had to go for it again.

I’ve seen WAY too many beto bumper stickers and shirts here in Houston. Hopefully Fort Bend County will go for Ted. It’s becoming overrun with foreigners that lean left. Our house seat is currently Republican held as well, and hanging on for dear life.

Means nothing. Believe in the silent majority. Heck, during the 2016 Presidential campaign, all I saw here in Utah were Hillary and Bernie stickers. Neither of them stood a chance to win Utah, just like this socialist clown beto doesn't stand a chance to win Texas.

I would like for the polls to show that Ted is ahead by more than 9 points. To me, that is almost a draw. But I am sure that after Pres. Trump and Ted have their rally that the real pendejo will be crushed on election day.

True! Recently I have seen a substantial increase in the number democraP signs in our neighborhoods. And given our proximity to the 3 northern counties and MD, I am not really surprised. But, it does make me wonder how it will turn out.
