This is kind of long and involved but I will try to shorten this.

I have been on Opdivo for over a year.
It had been working well until 4 months ago.
That scan showed the beginning of resistance to treatment with one tumor growing again and all else staying the same.

Today, that tumor that had been growing despite the medication has not grown further.
There is another kidney cancer tumor in my left lung that had been static, neither growing nor shrinking the whole time, and now, suddenly showed shrinkage.
All other tumors have held solid, not growing.

That is about as good news as possible because the expectation was that the resistance had started 4 months ago and we expected to see other tumors advancing in growth, but that is not the case.

Praise God, One God, Jesus Christ Amen!

I cried all the way home, Jesus is intervening in my life.

Thank you all for your prayers.

Great news! That has to be a big relief.

I've been getting CAT/PET scans every 3-4 months to see if my cancer has metastasized or not. Talk about nerve racking till you get the results. So far, so good. Next one in October.

I wish you all the best lbj and pray for continued good reports.
