We know this was coming, but I didn't think it would be so soon. I'll miss him.

I never new exactly how old he was, but when certain people pass a certain age, and have live a particularly exemplary life, it more appropriate to celebrate their life than to morn their passing. Jim falls into this category.

Anybody know how Martine is holding up, and if there's anything we can do for her?

I never had the privilege of meeting or talking with JALLEN but, from reading his forum posts over these many years now, I'm certain he would have been an interesting man to meet and become friends with. I know that I am more informed, in part, because of his contributions on the forum.

Jim, I hope you slipped the lines quietly and peacefully. Thank you for your service and for your wisdom.

My thoughts and prayers for his wife, family, and friends. Thanks for sharing him with us.

We knew it was coming, but that doesn't make it any easier. He imparted a great deal of wisdom and was sometimes a calming or moderating influence.
