Lena Dunham is losing weight.
Barbra Streisand is eating pancakes and gaining weight.
It appears Nancy Pelosi is in the beginning stages of dementia.
Illegal border crossings have slowed.
Job are coming back.
Companies are exporting fewer jobs these days.
The general mood of the country seems optimistic.
The Media has screwed themselves and their credibility with bias, lies, innuendo and fake news, and it's plain to see and in full view.

There truly is nothing Trump cannot do.

Not really surprising, these people pay ungodly amounts of money to have coyotes sneak them over. Why risk throwing away your entire life savings if there's a good chance you will just be escorted back penniless?

I got to read it once, what happened?

The acting director of United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS)defied President Trump:

"The acting director of U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services of Homeland Security, Lori Scialabba, sent out a February 2 memo directing her employees to continue processing documents for refugees from the countries named by Donald Trump."

Now,

Dear Colleagues,

After almost 33 years of public service, I will be retiring from the federal government at the end of March. ...

Best wishes,
Lori Scialabba

Acting Director

Ms. Scialabba appears to be very open border minded:
http://www.vdare.com/posts/uci...em-for-iraqi-muslims

Sources tell Breitbart News that the Department of Homeland Security, and in particular U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services [USCIS], is a hotbed of career open borders ideologues, many of whom intend to directly and indirectly subvert President Trump’s agenda.

“If you go down the list of current management at USCIS, probably 80 percent are open-borders left-wing ideologues,” a source, who has worked at the Department of Homeland Security for more than a decade and supports President Trump’s agenda, tells Breitbart News.

“USCIS probably has the most violent anti-border people in the United States. These are in the management. These do not believe in borders. I know them personally,” the source says.

“I am deeply concerned President Trump will not clean the deepest swamp, USCIS,” the source says.

In her previous position at USCIS, Director of Refugee Asylum and International Operations, “it was common knowledge that her email was directly available to anyone in the Iraqi community who wanted to apply for asylum,” the source adds.

“Iraqis that come into the country on visas were applying for asylum right away. Their cases would be denied because they didn’t qualify, they didn’t meet any of the five grounds for asylum. They didn’t have well founded fear, they weren’t persecuted,” the source notes.

“Any Iraqi that was denied asylum, they would email Scialabba directly. She would email her subordinates at the local offices, and those cases would be re-opened and approved, basically to please her,” the source said."
---------------
I also agree the Trump is being too nice and kind to the Obama holdovers. Those people will never quit trying to undermine him. He should fire all Obama appointees. If nothing else, when all those persons have lost their comfortable jobs, they can look at each other and realize they got what they deserve.

Re: CIS leadership

While I worked for DHS/ICE (the enforcement side) for almost 10 years, I would occasionally have to go into the CIS offices. On the wall for all their personnel to see was their main metric of how well they were doing their "job"--the number of I-551s ("Permenant Residence Card", aka "Green Card") that had been issued each month over the past 12 months. That is how they "justified" their existence as an Agency.

Under the Obama regime, it got to the point that they were handing out "551s" like jelly beans, and "to the Devil" (zum Teufel) with actually protecting the Country and keeping out the bad guys and other undesirables. Most of the rest of my fellow ICE folks were just as disgusted as I was with CIS; both agencies (ICE and CIS) we're working at cross-purposes to eachother.

I couldn't wait to retire, and I did so at the earliest I was eligible. Mad

Well we got rid of pussy Obama just in time. I think General Mattis is the perfect person for this job. Bully's, like Lil' Kim, think that they can keep pushing and no one will fight back.

A list of witnesses scheduled to appear at a House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence Open Hearing on “Russian Active Measures” contains a glaring problem: the only technical experts scheduled to testify are from CrowdStrike. CrowdStrike is a firm hired by the Democratic National Committee (DNC) and has become the primary source of the narrative about “Russian hacking” of the 2016 election and has acted as a mouthpiece for the Democrats since last June.

Who owns Crowdstrike?

http://www.cbronline.com/news/...urity-plans-4866347/

Google made its first public investment in security in July 2015 with the company CrowdStrike

Google's parent company is Alphabet whose CEO is Eric Schmidt.

Eric Schmidt drew up a Hillary Clinton campaign plan in 2014.

Schmidt sent a detailed plan to Cheryl Mills, who had served as Clinton's chief of staff when she was secretary of state, in April 2014, a full year before the Democratic politician announced her bid for the White House.

States that plan to challenge the new executive order on immigration

Hawaii, New York, Minnesota, Washington, Oregon

"This legal challenge was expected, as liberals are marching lock-step to oppose anything this administration does, even policies aimed at national security."

As an INS alumnus-- I'm guessing you were USCS pre-DHS and not accustomed to the cesspool that was the INS?-- I can verify that approving an immigration benefit took NOTHING. Denying it, however, took a whole bunch of time and headache, plus supervisory (generally second-level) approval, which, for Adjudicators at least, meant that their productivity stats would take a hit.

To recap: Approve lots of petitions for residency or naturalization, be a fair-haired rock star. Deny them, and you're an unproductive troublemaker. Add the every-three-years-under-a-Democratic-administration "We MUST naturalize [large number] before [deadline to register to vote]!" circus, and anyone with half an inclination to actually enforce and administer the nation's laws generally went elsewhere.

As I used to say, there's a reason you'd meet so many FORMER INS agents in other agencies.

Back in August I posted the following when someone stated that Trump would be shocked to learn that he had to convince Congressmen to get his agenda passed because he was some kind of dictator:

quote:
Do you think he would do what Obama did and insulate himself in the TrumpHouse and never meet with the leaders of Congress? I don't - I think he would have them there all the time and would quickly learn what he needed to do to get each one to either go along or step aside - whether it was political favors or threats to expose them to a media firestorm or funding their opponents in upcoming elections. I think he would figure it out and do whatever he had to do to get his way.

Maybe I'm wrong about that and he would insulate himself like Obama did and just cry when things didn't go his way - but I would submit that his record does not indicate that he would react that way.

From the news today:

Trump Woos Lawmakers With Flattery and White House Bowling

Less than two months on the job, President Donald Trump is showing that when it comes to wooing members of Congress, he’s no Barack Obama.

Where Obama was usually reserved and met sparingly with lawmakers, Trump has launched a full-out charm offensive, much of it aimed at bolstering the beleaguered Republican Obamacare plan.

Trump “was talking about how we all got to work together,” said Representative Tom Cole of Oklahoma, who was part of a group of House Republican vote-counters who met Trump Tuesday in the White House. “He even said at one point, ‘Maybe we should meet once a week. Maybe we should meet every four days!’”

....

“Facts are stubborn things; and whatever may be our wishes, our inclinations, or the dictates of our passions, they cannot alter the state of facts and evidence.”
