^^^ I don't know how they got that dog to put up with that. The lifespan of any foreign object on our dogs' noses is too short to measure.

Two week update.
She’s growing. She’s hyper. She’s learning.
Potty training is going well. She hasn’t gone in the house yet. She knows to whine at the door.
She gets along with the other two dogs, the cats and rabbits are adjusting.

I take her to work sometimes so she can play with the dispatchers. She peed in there. Once.

Introduced her to our K9 Bosco and they get along just fine.

Chowser,
I would have had to think about that pup for a nano-second or so. Wife would have been mad but she'd get over it quickly. Our current dog,Ellie is a husky/staffordshire terrier mix and doesn't do well with other dogs. It is theonlyreason we have 1 dog currently and not a houseful.

This is Agnus. Picked him up yesterday to do a foster. He is a breed I never heard of. A Flatwater Retreiver. Pretty mellow and you can tell he was someone’s. He and his sister were dumped on the side of the road or wandered off. No one knows for sure.A neighboring PD kept them for a couple days hoping the owners would show up or someone would call to no avail. Turned over for adoption.

Looks like a Flat Coated Retriever to me. Mostly an English breed. They were at one time known as Wavy Coated Retrievers, as opposed to the Curly Coated Retriever. Both Flat Coated and Labador Retrievers are thought to descend from the St. John's Waterdog. But since they are no more and there are no records who knows. Golden Retrievers are thought to have been developed partly from Flat Coated Retriever.
