Thank you for letting Daisy adopt you.

It takes time. Our two Yorkies were saved from an amish puppy mill before being thrown dead on a pile. It was several years of work before they were finally able to be the wonderful dogs they became.

I miss them with all my heart, every day.

Went out to get the mail and this beauty was at my doorstep

Sadly, I saw the owner chasing two other puppies so I scooped this one up and held her and gave her lots of pets and hugs until he caught the other two and came over.

Not minority enough!

Daughter recently had to put down her 13 year old Boston. After the morning period, she went to the county shelter to rescue. Free adoption weekend and by the time she got there only one dog left. Staff told her dog was very shy and afraid so nobody wanted her. Daughter said, “Give her to me.”

A lot of loving and attention and she has a devoted pet.

Meet Penny, before and after.

Just another day in paradise.

J3E and JY, thanks for noticing Big Grin. , she had her nails trimmed on her last vet visit and daughter has trimmer.

She was badly neglected, her first owner died and father took his dogs but did not know how to care for them. County took the dogs and that is how she became available. Nails had obviously not been trimmed for a while and quick is almost full length. Will take some time to nibble nails back and make quick retreat.

Just another day in paradise.

Molly, in the front, and Katie.

We rescued Katie a few weeks ago.
She was found in the neighborhood cowering behind a neighbors trashcan.

No chip. We had the vet check her out. Under a year old and healthy, except for being a bit underweight.

She and Molly have become good buddies.

He’s local to me, I’ve attended his book signing and heard him speak on it. He’s a great story teller and had everyone in laughter.
