That’s a great-looking picture!

Very cool. You likely know this, but Ecola (?) State Park is just one exit north of you and there’s the most photographed place in Oregon. Indian beach there is stunning.

When I was last there we lucked out getting a low, low tide.

Thank you both.

I need to one day when we are in Cannon Beach get to Ecola State Park either in the early morning or evening to catch a sunset. I also didn't get to Haystack Rock this trip.

I really wanted to try out the 500mm 1:4.5 Sigma lens with the 2x teleconverter on the birds at Haystack Rock.

My family has spent a week at Cannon Beach every summer since 2011. We stay at the Christian Conference Center for about 1700.00 which includes lodging for my wife, myself, youngest son, and two meals a day (breakfast and dinner).

Nice shot! We were there 3 weeks ago, and we already miss the cooler temps. In our wildest dreams, that's where we would retire.

Ladies and gentlemen, take my advice - pull down your pants and slide on the ice.

Every time I walk by those Nasturtiums I snag a leaf or three and eat them. They are very tasty.
