30-30 and .22lr matched set … just saw it a few hrs ago.  Took my son this AM and reminded him he’s likely to never see this again. It’s really the only time I’ve ever liked gold on a gun. Beautiful wood patterns on both rifles. There are a couple of guns with gold on them in the Winchester collection at the Buffalo Bill Center of the West. PC | |||

They do have nice wood. I would prefer case hardened receivers, but they are handsome rifles. The fish is mute, expressionless. The fish doesn't think because the fish knows everything. | |||
