Sweet Weber mrprovy, my 3 burner Genesis is about 9 years old, only had to replace the "flavor bars" with stainless ones. Tell us what it has over your old one. Was that griddle standard?

The only thing I really hated about my old Weber was that the knobs were on the right tray, rendering it useless for food prep or tools. The Griddle was not part of the grill, but the grill came with the new crafted system, which is a swappable grate; I bought a crisping basket and the griddle, and will keep the griddle on full time because I generally cooked chicken nuggets and hash browns for my daughter whenever I grill. It also has a much bigger grilling area, and the upper tray folds out giving me a lot of surface to cook additional food further away from the flame.
