I did these a couple days ago ... but I've had them for years

This one is new to me, an Arsenal SLG 95 ... I had the correct mag and the seller didn't have a mag ... so I put the two together. Its another I kinda wish I'd kept back in the day but something else made me itch, so it hit the chopping block.

My wife spotted this guy sitting on a tree branch quite close to the patio and he (I believe this one a male, though they're hard to tell apart) obligingly stayed put Wink

I haven't seen a native Dove in a long time. The Collared Doves have decimated the native population in our area and they are all you see around here anymore.

Here's one that showed up last year.

We see quite a few of the collard doves, and they are definitely moving in to take over. But our native populations are still holding on. Our local population is about 1/3 each (collard, morning, and white wing).

Thank you, kind sir!

Just getting into photography. Trying to learn the ropes. Hoping to get a longer lens so I can get some big birds.

I started a new hobby about 6 months ago, rock tumbling. I started with one small, 3 lb, tumbler and now have four with approx. 19 lbs going at all times. This is just for fun, give them to friends, kids love them.
