The Ghia or the rag-top next to it ... I have enough trouble getting out of my 72 Vette ... I just imagine that buggy was made by someone with younger knees! (which isn't to say I wouldn't want to drive it!) If you really want something you'll find a way ... ... if you don't you'll find an excuse. I'm really not a "kid" anymore ... but I haven't grown up yet either

Here's a few from the Tall Ships Festival I attended. __________________________ "We're after men - and I wish to God I was with them. The next time you make a mistake, I'm going to ride off and let you die." - Deke Thornton, - The Wild Bunch

I love full-rigged tall ships. But I don't recall that inflatable dinghies were available back then.

These were taken on the Saginaw River, near Bay City, Michigan. __________________________ "We're after men - and I wish to God I was with them. The next time you make a mistake, I'm going to ride off and let you die." - Deke Thornton, - The Wild Bunch

The Tall Ships Festival makes the rounds every few years. They have crews from all over the world on these ships. Thousands literally crowded the shoreline, and the downtown wharf. Hope, you liked these. __________________________ "We're after men - and I wish to God I was with them. I like the full-rigged 3 masters the best. So many sails and lines to manage.

Minimal protection, as it does not appear to be a bark scorpion. Still, I would not like to get stung by it.

Appearing yet again is "Stinger" (the long dead, from drowning, Stripe Tail scorpion) in possibly one of his (her?) final photo shoots. Since it rained last night and Stinger is left outside, he/she appears to have been slightly re-hydrated. Another photo session this afternoon will see if there is some "life" in this model. ________________________________________________________ The trouble with trouble is; it always starts out as fun.
