Do you have to get a pilot license for it?

I was out kayaking early before the fog burned off and it was so quiet and peaceful, couldn't resist a photo. It's not the best, but not bad for a flip phone camera.

I've got a private license, but the FAA isn't involved with this.

Big ol Turbine RC jet.

You have to get a waiver to go turbine but it's not a big deal to complete.

I'm just being a smart ass. My stepson has been into large RC aircraft (no turbines) for a couple of decades and he is always very nervous during maiden flights of his latest plane.

Good luck and God speed on that first flight.
