Just ordered a Sternglas Bremen from Mimi's Jewelers. Cool looking white dial and leather strap. Kinda cool history in the naming with a neat graphic on the case back.

I will post pictures when I receive it

I got a Sternglas from Dave for my dad's 60th birthday a few years ago.
Really nice piece, IMO. His is on a bracelet, a Naos IIRC

I just check in here occasionally. Something pulled me today. Note to self for future reference: resist that pull.

Now I want a Naos Solar.

Comparing the accuracy of a few recent rotation watches. The Helm on the left has held its time the best....almost right on. The Ball comes next.

BigSwede-

https://seikoluxe.com/products/spb509/

I picked up this one last year (looking at you Stickman!)
I really like it! As in: REALLY LIKE IT!

It checks a lot of boxes for me, blue face (and the wave pattern is a beautiful bonus!), a GMT…
It also has Seikos Micro Adjustment bracelet- WOW! Talk about comfortable!

I like the Proplex line, it’s some really good stuff!

I'd sell off a couple of Samurai to grab an SPB509!

Cool

Nothing against any Samurai, I like them but it's a Samurai- kinda like a G-19. There's a ton out there, and not hard to grab one that you want.

I know you have "That Condition" like many of us on this thread have, and I'm not trying to spend your money, but.....
If there happens to be a shop around you at any given time that has one, ya may wanna check one out Wink

When I get that van to live down by the river, I'll make sure it's a big van!

Y'know the Samurai that's hard to grab (that I want) is the 2018 Dawn Gray version ( SRPD03, like this). I don't find them often, and when I do they're way expensive.

It's easy to say I have "the SIGness." It just sounds weird to say I have "the Seikoness." Confused

Yes.
1) I need to visit our "candy store" again soon, and
2) Yep, better have a big van, 'cause you're likely gonna be sharing it! Big Grin
