I really like the piano. I didn't know they made a grand in a upright configuration. Care to elaborate?

Upright grands stand about five feet tall whereas a spinet is much shorter. It is just a way to differentiate between a full size upright and a smaller spinet. Spinets were for the parlor where the soundboard only extends a foot or so above the keyboard.

The top of this piano is about three feet higher than the keyboard.

The Waterford and Sons have rounded corners on the cabinet instead of being square.
