Took a ride around my favorite loop of twisty road. Surprised the colors are as good as they are, given how dry it's been.

Just beautiful. That really makes me miss my '89 red Coupe.

Very beautiful! Our tress are starting but not quite there yet. You're also making me miss having a convertible.

Very pretty country and nice car.

On a side note, any issues getting into the Vette? My wife's cousin had one and me getting over the door sill/hump is interesting to say the least. With my '78, I could swing my legs out no problem but getting in and out of her '86 was not easy, as low as you sit.

I've always wanted to get another but I am not sure if I can get in or out as easily, especially when I took a look at the newer C-8 models. They are really low to the ground.

Yes and no. I have a technique that works well but if I'm making multiple stops I don't take the Vette because it IS tiring.

Getting in, I open the door, stand with my back to the car, and plop down in the seat, then pick up my legs and swing them over the sill.

Getting out takes more effort. Swing my legs out brace my left elbow on the back of the door opening, my right elbow on the corner of the dash and heave myself out.

I'd actually like to move up to a C5 or C6 for easier entry/exit, but I don't see that happening and it's worth it as it's a blast to drive and the seats are very comfortable once you're in.
