| The GSXR has been mostly discontinued in Europe and Japan IIRC. The rumor is that Suzuki is working on a successor and wants to return to racing after pulling out of Grand Prix racing in 2022 only two years after winning a championship. It sounds like Suzuki plans on returning to racing but I don’t think it will happen this year. When Suzuki pulled the plug on the GSX-RR program (their MotoGP bike) there was a lot of talk from corporate Suzuki about sustainability and electric mess. Fast forward two years and now it seems like they are rethinking that a little bit. The GSX-R is and will always be one of my favorite motorcycles.

Thank you. The 2017 matte black with red wheels is what I was originally looking for in the used market, but finding one in excellent condition seems to cost a couple thousand less than just getting a brand new one. |

| Congratulations! I had an '05 1000. I can't imagine what they're like 20 years later. Have fun! |
