The cake is a lie! |
Just picked up a 2025 Suzuki GSXR-600. My plan was to get one before Summer, but here we are. I trailered it home from a different city, and rained hard the whole way. 3 miles on the odometer. This message has been edited. Last edited by: Nismo,

That should be a fun ride! No car is as much fun to drive, as any motorcycle is to ride.

The GSXR has been mostly discontinued in Europe and Japan IIRC. The rumor is that Suzuki is working on a successor and wants to return to racing after pulling out of Grand Prix racing in 2022 only two years after winning a championship. It sounds like Suzuki plans on returning to racing but I don’t think it will happen this year. When Suzuki pulled the plug on the GSX-RR program (their MotoGP bike) there was a lot of talk from corporate Suzuki about sustainability and electric mess. Fast forward two years and now it seems like they are rethinking that a little bit. The GSX-R is and will always be one of my favorite motorcycles. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ The price of liberty and even of common humanity is eternal vigilance

Congrats! That black/grey looks slick "Pickin' stones and pullin' teats is a hard way to make a living. But, sure as God's got sandals, it beats fightin' dudes with treasure trails." "We've been tricked, we've been backstabbed, and we've been quite possibly, bamboozled."

Thank you. The 2017 matte black with red wheels is what I was originally looking for in the used market, but finding one in excellent condition seems to cost a couple thousand less than just getting a brand new one.
