There are actually two. The first is my former duty pistol, a plain jane Glock 22 Gen4. Its become the "family keepsake", hardly shot, but shown alot and mentioned all the time. The second is this Smith and Wesson Model 15-3. A nice bonus is the target trigger and hammer. I've wanted one since I saw the movie, Jaws. It's been in my collection for about 6 years and it's not going anywhere. If the end of the world comes, this wheel gun is going with me into the toxic tundra that used to be our civilization....Now all I need is the perfect leather holster for it......

Very nice! I'm on the hunt for a model 15 to go with my 18-2.

I know it's "Old School", but for a classic revolver like that, I'd go with a "200 AW" or an "HSR" holster by Milt Sparks Leather. The HSR model lacks the hammer shroud.

This is one of my first Mil-Surps, and one of my last memories with my grandfather, a WWII Navy vet. After I purchased it, I handed it to him in my garage, he looked at it and said, "this is the heavy son of a bitch."

I bought this one with "distressed" leather, but there's other options available too. Milt Sparks' holsters are built solid and it will last you a lifetime.

Trigger guard can be covered or uncovered too.

Two first class leather artists I have used:

Back when I lived on the east coast near the shop, Ritchie gunleather. Took over the old Alessi shop, and had been Lou’s right hand man for many years. Continues the same classic designs and quality

Now that I live in AZ Rob Leary’s simply rugged is nearby. Also first class work and designs

Honestly though, for a 4” K frame holster, go to every dusty old gun shop in town and look through the holster bin they all have. Until 1990 the 4” K was the universal handgun in the US, and you will likely be able to find something used to meet your needs cheap. I have found some real gems doing this.
