Finger Lakes fishing
Sometimes I need to take a day off from work, turn off the phone and fish. 5-8-26, Cayuga Lake, cold rainy morning but the bite was good. I caught 9 that morning, this was the largest.

That's a nice catch and a bad fishing is better than a good day at work. You did well.

Most of my fishing is freshwater bass or inshore/offshore off Florida, so I'm curious, what type of bait does one use for that sort of fishing?

The dynamite, fuse and caps are in the yellow dry bag.

Hi Mike,

We jig for them! 1 oz. jig head and a money minnow swim bait (although we use other swim bait colors - white, chartreuse, etc. depending on what they're biting). Anywhere from 30 to 120 feet of water. Deeper in summer as they are a cold water fish.
