Tons are the Sig Academy. Their frangible non tox used them. I took all of them home. Separated they were great for reloading. Zero difference between large and small primers.

I've crushed a few primers in my progressive press when the wrong case gets into the mix but none ever detonated.

Funny thing as I just loaded a few thousand 45ACP for a friend and he had a crap load of the SP primer cases mixed in. I had to hand sort them.

Any small primer I find gets cleaned, bagged and sold at my local gun store.
