To that end I purchased a DeSantis Criss-Cross for my P365. This is a molded leather holster with a reinforced top and a single long slot to pass the belt through, with about a 20° butt-to-rear cant. Right hip carry, whether IWB or OWB, is not accessible while sitting or driving. AIWB solves this problem, but when driving, unless I move the gun and holster elsewhere, it leaves no place for the lap part of the seat belt to go but over a hard gun. With this carry, the belt can pass between my body, the holster and gun butt. I am carrying at approximately 10:30 (12:00 is your belly button) clock position. When not driving, my typical untucked shirt conceals adequately, without showing below the tail.

I have to break my long habit of wrapping my belt around my waist in a counter-clockwise direction, as the loose end of the belt interfered with the holster, as well as having to pull nearly the entire length of the belt through the holster slot, which is very tight. Should I have to enter a venue where guns aren't allowed, I can always just take the gun out and stash it in the car. Nobody says you can't carry an empty holster.

Actually, I was told that at a local hospital last summer when my GF spent a couple weeks there. I didn't want to risk getting caught with an empty holster (and spare mag carrier, of course) so I asked at the security desk, and was told not to wear them into the hospital.

After some more thought, if I know I'll be going to such a place, I'd just use a different holster.

You might want to consider the 'Carjacker' for cross-draw in-vehicle use...There is no better solution unless you've got a vehicle mounted holster, and even then it's debatable as to which solution is better.

Here's how it's made... Wink
