So I'm probably the opposite of most and carry a bigger gun in summer months because well, Alaska, bears and stuff. So per my usual routine, new carry gear gets tested on the nightly dog walks. Good practice, lots of movement and relatively low risk. Just don't do it the night before garbage pickup to minimize the chance of seeing garbage can marauding Black Bears. Starting to get serious about carrying a 10mm rather than a big bore revolver. What I'm working with is a Sig XTen Comp with Sig Romeo X Enclosed red dot. The holster is a Kirkpatrick Red Dot, the belt is from Diamond D Leather here in Alaska and the mag carrier is a Galco QMC which they are sadly discontinuing. First off the holster is extremely well made, heavy leather and holds the butt of the gun tight against my side. The downside is that it is taking a while to break in. The first few draws were comical in how tightly it was holding on to the gun. The second was the ordering process was a nightmare. Originally they made the holster for a 5" standard XTen instead of the Comp. getting customer service to understand the issue in the first place took a couple of weeks and several e-mails. Once sent back it took months to receive the remade holster. The initial holster was received 4 weeks after ordering. The remade was received in mid April and the initial order was made in September. The belt is comfortable but there is no getting around a 10mm handgun and 30 rounds of ammo is a lot of weight to carry. Switched off to a Wilderness Tactical 5 stitch 1-3/4" belt and it carries much tighter than the leather. I have not tried my Kore Essentials belt with it yet. Then there's the optic. First time I've carried a gun with a red dot. I've put in lots of range practice and I'm comfortable with it. After carrying it three times now, I'm glad I have an enclosed optic. The amount of lint and dust that builds up on the lens is ridiculous. Thankfully it's easy to wipe off and not have to worry about cleaning an open emitter along with its nooks and crannies. Mag carrier also works well. I've used Galco QMC's for years. I like the convenience of the big clip and not having to thread a belt through a mag carrier. Bummed that they're discontinuing it. Also working with a Gunfighter's Inc. Spectre shoulder holster system for this gun. I've got one of their Kenai chest holsters for my 5" XTen and have been extremely happy with it. ![]() My daughter can deflate your daughter's soccer ball.

This one from Don Hume - an old, established maker - looks broadly similar, should you want or need to replace it. https://www.donhume.com/index...._515&products_id=122 As a sometimes alternative to my usual AIWB I got a JIT Slide holster for my own P365. It too is needing a lot of break-in.
