apf383Getting my NY CCW, which pistol for that purpose?
CD228, more gang activity around here than press reports per PD buddies I know. That’s not to say 1 or 2 rounds wouldn’t end the threat or scare off the others but I’d just prefer to avoid a mag change. Snubby 8 shot .357 would work as well.

Ok, so multiple attackers, I can see why you would want the max round count.

JumboBack when I lived in NY and had a permit I was told by the Sheriff’s department that any firearm used in a shooting would be destroyed no matter how legal the use. I don’t know if that is still policy but if so I wouldn’t carry anything I wouldn’t want to lose.

Friends thought I was nuts for carrying my Les Baer for that reason. I told them if it saves my life, cheap insurance. Even if you get it back, it'll be rusted, dinged up, etc. Even officer firearms. I have heard/read about some departments engraving the case number on the firearm! That is just wrong on so many levels.

apf383Another good reason to leave the P7M8 home and just grab the P320. Giving some serious consideration to the P365 in 9mm for a light weight summer pistol. My brother in law loves his.
