In a 1,000 years that idea of a clear holster would never occur to me.

Well... If they are going for invisible, the clips would seem to negate that.

IWB kind of negates it also, doesn’t it? Maybe an OWB to show off your BBQ gun…

I have seen the clear material used for a bird and trout knife sheath. In that role it’s neat because it can help with cleaning it out. My big question is about how long they remain clear before getting scratched, worn, or cloudy.

Since it's useless but gun related, they'll probably sell a zillion of them! Cool

I think it would be more fun as an OWB.

It can be converted to OWB.

Two reviews on google were bad.

Looks like a little shop inside a mall.

Was going to order their new belly holster they are advertising. Bank denied the charge as the charge originated in TAIWAN. BBB says their headquarters is in Las Vegas. Trustpilot says their headquarters is in Fort Collins, Colorado, and another site shows their headquarters as Boulder, Colorado. Their emails are written in Broken English. They are falsely advertising that they are 100% veteran owned and 100% a USA company. I emailed and asked why the charge came from Taiwan. their quote:

Clear polymers are a bit of a challenge. I recall Magpul attempting to bring a clear PMAG to market in 2007 or 2008 (it was tied to an AUG clone) and never getting it done. They were pretty clear about getting the material right being the issue.

I have seen a couple transparent-ish thermoplastics (kydex/boltaron/etc) offered by reputable holster makers, but they are generally not as transparent as the item in the OP and require an upcharge over a "normal" solid color holster.

All things being equal between materials, I wouldn't be opposed to buying one, but it would certainly be an aesthetics thing, only.

All the holsters on their web site are generically brand shaped for whichever type of gun you own. They claim everything fits, but I think we know how that would actually play out.

Clear polymers smell brittle to me. Imagine falling down and your clear holster shatters on the pavement with your gun spilling out in plain view. Sorry but I don't get it, except for some who like it because it exists, a psychological itch I'm sure. But I got a belly button brush for Christmas once, the tag read, for the man who has everything. This must be that.

Someone here on Sig Forum was making Kydex holsters for a while, and made a few clear ones. I picked up one for my Ruger LCP. Works rather nicely and looks good.

LEGACY FIREARMS makes some Ghost clear models. but they're more opaque than clear, it appears. I've had a couple made (not in Ghost), and they offer quite a few light options, and are pretty accommodating to small changes.

Clear clips would be much more valuable than a clear holster. Black clips on any belt that isn't black stand out.
