Has anyone tried the TXC CVRT AWIB holster? I'm curious how it compares to other AWIB holsters like Tier 1. Thanks.

Well I am waiting to see if they have a Black Friday sale. I will be ordering one because I like the features and the matching magazine holder that I can angle very far. Not minority enough!

I like their stuff alright, enough to buy a couple. Have a couple of cvrt holsters, one for a G26 & one for a shield. I prefer Tenicor rigs, and they're my "go to", but as with any holster maker you have to try em & see how they fit your body (or at least that's been my experience). _________________________ "Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. What do you feel are the pros and cons of the CVRT? And why do you like Tenicor better? Thanks!

I like the CVRT's built-in "wedge" and the angled camming bar they use to hide the rig for AIWB carry. Dislikes: it feels "cheap" for lack of a better term. Flimsy. That said they hold the pistol well and it has a solid lock with a positive "snick". Ultimately I don't hate them and use it with my G26 for edc. Tenicor rigs are better made, sturdier, and FOR ME fit my body much better. Less digging into my gut and far better for extended carry. They also have a built-in wedge and camming bar, though not angled like the CVRT is. Tenicor is more adjustable for up and down/height over belt than CVRT also. IMHO the TXC line are good rigs and I wouldn't be mad if that was all I had to use, just prefer the Tenicor offerings for my body. And that's really the determining factor with holsters, how they fit you personally. _________________________ "Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. Thanks for the review! I have an IWB Tenicor but it's for 4:00 carry. My body won't let me do that.

neither have shipped. tier1 says 5-15 days lead time and txc says 2-4 weeks. i got the tier1 for a glock and the txc for a staccato. i tried a coworkers tenicor for his p365 for a week, it didn't fit me right. spare tire too large i guess. also mag release kept getting pressed. My Tier1 arrived. I had to add a small foam wedge to it. Of course the gun I bought it for didn't fit (Glockstore G26X) so I dug a gen4 19 out of storage and have been carrying it around. It feels good. I'm hoping the gen6 19 fits it because I have to return the gen4 19 in 10 days to storage. lol I'm going to have to get to the bandsaw and shave off part of the bottom of the holster that is digging into me. TXC hasn't shipped yet and it's been about 5 weeks. So much for their new 2-4week lead times when I ordered. --- here is where I am cutting the Tier1 part off. This message has been edited.
