Has anyone tried one of these holsters ? I fish on rivers in the winter time and would like to carry my 365 but wearing chest waders would not be easy to access my pistol around my waist.

Get it...Trust me, you will NOT be disappointed. I've got the Kenai Chest Holster (w/ a spare mag pouch) for a HK USPc and a SIG P320. I wore it ALL DAY fishing with my 21 YO son back in September and rarely noticed I was wearing it. I've even ran 4 miles while wearing it one time, just to see if it would work for that activity, and though I definitely knew I had it on, there were NO issues doing so. With a P365, you could likely wear it for just about any activity w/o issue. The Kenai Chest Holster is perfect for pretty much anything you would do outdoors, especially for fishing, hiking, backpacking and mountain biking.

Gunfighters[INC] is a Veteran owned company, provides excellent customer service, no BS lifetime warranty, and run a 25% off sale multiple times a year, usually for Veterans Day, Black Friday, (Memorial Day?) and Independence Day if memory serves me correctly. Checking my Inbox, they even offer 30% discounts (on ALL HOLSTERS!) once in a while. Wink

+++ For the Kenai rig. Its my preference for woods carry for my G20 or Ruger GP100. I switched from a Diamond D chest rig as the Kenai is more weather resistant than a leather setup. With my 1911 set up in the rig, I can even wear it under a jacket.

For ANY hunting scenario, the Diamond D leather across the chest holster is the clear winner over the Kenai kydex across the chest holster.
I have both for a Ruger Super Blackhawk 4.625" .44 Magnum.
Why? Noise. Anything that touches the kydex holster makes a noise. Rifle butt stock bump, climbing a deer stand ladder, tree branch bump. Kydex is just noisy, compared to leather.
Sure, the leather holster and harness requires regular maintenance, and more so when it gets wet. Hunting & fishing, you just cannot avoid getting an across the chest holster wet.

Me personally, the leather Diamond D gets regular usage every year, while the kydex Kenai rots in the bottom of the surplus/unused holster box.
I am not fishing in rivers in the winter, or doing any fishing at all.

XLT, IF you are only using the holster during fishing activities, then kydex is your clear winner simply due to less maintenance needed.

For fishing, also check out the Hill People Gear kit bags or similar products from other companies. They have a dedicated pocket for the gun, but also other pockets and molle attachments that are great for stashing tackle and other stuff that you want handy on the water. I've used mine quite a bit for kayak fishing and backcountry trout fishing on foot and it's super handy.

It's going to be a little slower to access than an open chest rig like the Kenai, but it's more discreet and protects the gun from the elements. I use it for a DA revolver, but if I was going to put a gun like the P365 in there I'd get one of those snap on kydex trigger-guard covers for the added safety and peace of mind. Just tie it off to the loop inside the pocket so it pops off on the draw.

I have a Kenai Gunfighter. I got it for a 19x several years ago. I know your not looking for something for a Glock but I really like it. It fits every double stack Glock I have, 26,19,45 and 17. They are great holsters.

Great holster system. Have used it with my 5” Sig X-Ten. I can attest to its retention in that it held the pistol in place when I went into Eklutna Lake on a kayaking trip gone very wrong.

My wife likes the system. She has it for 2 of her Sigs and a Ruger revolvers. She got it after seeing some of our friends using them and their recommendation.
