I bought her first two albums back when they were released. I still listen to them. This song, 'Mad About You', is one of my favorites.

Powerful voice on that one. She’s fabulous! Too bad Letterman’s band sucked.

Yep, one of the many reasons that music from the '80s sticks with me closest to this day.

She is a favorite of mine. I fondly remember listening to her on my Walkman. Yeah, I had a Walkman.

She was/is such a beautiful, talented young lady.

Thanks for this post.

Got to see her with the GoGo's in the early '80s at Red Rocks amphitheater in CO on a rainy night. She was singing and dancing to we got the beat and slipped and went down on stage, bounce right back up and said "wow it's slippery out here" and just kept on performing. It was a great night for a high school freshman.

I like her in her "I Get Weak" video. A departure from her traditional look but as beautiful as ever. It wasn't as popular as the "Mad About You" song and video, but she was just as, if not more, enchanting.

Absolutely lover her voice. My musical taste doesn't usually steer towards pop music, but being born in 73 and growing up listening to "80's" music just seems like a magical surreal time now. Anytime I hear her voice now and I am just instantly brought back to those care free summer days in a small town.

I saw her in a concert, at George Mason University in Fairfaxt, VA, as a soloist and part of a bigger show, like 1994. And from 50 yards away she still looked amazing.

Absolutely fantastic! She's one of my favorites. This was back when Letterman was tolerable.
