My favorite show,really well done. I’m sad to see it ending. I think the show is so well written, the ending will be a shocker.

One of small number of television series that my wife and I watch. It has certainly been a well-crafted and acted show. The only part of the show that I’ve struggled with lately is the rapid transition of Paige from whiny, self-absorbed teenager to a young woman and Russian agent.

I think it's the best television show I've ever seen.

Yeah, I'm thinking Phillip will inform on Elizabeth to save Paige. Still not sure about the Line dancing? I love this show and will miss its story line long after its gone.

I told my wife that I thought Elizabeth might die. She’s killed so many. She’s brought her daughter into the game. She used her husband to try and get him back into the game as well. As expressed in this forum many times, “Karma’s a bitch.” Somewhere, in this the last season, there has to be a “surprise” or twist. Her being killed is not far fetched

This series was conceived and produced during the Obama administration. I think few would disagree with the statement he is a hard left anti-American. Along those lines, the culture -- entertainment, education, information -- tilt way left.

All along I figured "The Americans" would end up basking in the smug irony of what this country became after Philip and Elizabeth's efforts. They don't get credit, in fact may end up paying an ultimate price but in the end were just a couple more grunts caught up in things bigger than themselves. TBH I hope Elizabeth gets hers and Phil comes to realize the West offers him a better life. Well, at least until the internet kills the travel agent biz.

Maybe Trump has delayed things but I'll bet this show's creators think a socialist USA is inevitable, just and simply right. Let's see how this all plays out.
