I think of AM rock when I think road tunes (a la Radar Love.) Here's a few more: I'm gonna vote for the funniest frog with the loudest croak on the highest log.

Some great selections here. I have a special "driving" playlist and, after perusing this thread, am going to be making several additions to it. Here are a couple of my favorites from that playlist: (Rick Wakeman played keyboards on 'Bang a Gong' in the studio, but apparently he wasn't available for this tv appearance. Instead, they found some no name to fill in. ![]() _____________________________________________________________________ “One of the common failings among honorable people is a failure to appreciate how thoroughly dishonorable some other people can be, and how dangerous it is to trust them.” – Thomas Sowell

We started the spring break roadtrip from Pittsburgh to Boca Raton with full albums and Van Halen's OU812 was first. First song is Mine All Mine and my buddy from that trip and I still start every road trip with that song. And on that trip we found a Pizza Hut with OU812 and VH I in the jukebox. Back then I think it was $4.99 for the all you can eat buffet. So we put those two entire CDs on for our lunches there. A better, vanished time.
