Remarkably Bright Creatures
Just a heads up if you're looking for a good movie to watch with your wife: Remarkably Bright Creatures on Netflix. It stars Sally Field (who is, IMHO, a very underrated actress). Any blurb about the plot that I can think of will give away some of the magic of the movie, so I just recommend that you check it out.

Very different kind of film, very well made and both happy and sad.

I agree - it was a good movie portraying people carrying life’s burdens yet being good influences on others. It is OK for kids too!

I was going to post the trailer, but after reading this, I guess I won't.

Wife and I watched it some time ago and thought it was a thoroughly enjoyable movie. Concur that posting the trailer would give it away.

As a retired marine biologist I can attest to the fact that the creature of importance in this film is indeed that bright, very curious and friendly. And an escape artist! Wife and I thought it a great film.

The wife and I watched it this evening and thoroughly enjoyed it. So glad that I didn't see the trailer or teaser and just went in cold.

Great movie.

Is this similar to My Octopus Teacher? I enjoyed the latter. I’ll watch the former when I renew NF. In the queue for now.
