Just finishing up the "Going Home" series.

I've heard the "Mountain Man" series is comparable.

I read a couple books a week but only read dystopian or post apocalyptic stuff so give me your best recommendation.

I've read several series and other one and done books but im always surprised at what I have never heard of.

The Penetrator series on Amazon Kindle is about 30 books
It is sort of like a free Mac Bolan/Executioner series.

The author is Chet Cunningham who I discovered when I read a nonfiction book he wrote titled "The Frogmen of WW2." He also writes westerns

I have really enjoyed reading both his westerns and action adventure novels

Paladine: Political thriller Series
Kenneth Eade

Not too bad. I liked books 1-3. Book 4 was okay and I am reading book 5 today but I'm having a little trouble getting into it. (It’s me not the book)

Robert Garcia was an unremarkable man, tapped out of a promising military career to become a death squad assassin for the CIA. Retirement was not in the cards for Robert, so he disappeared instead.

Man of War
An Eric steele Novel by Sean Parnell
(3 books)

He also wrote Outlaw Platoon regarding his time in Afghanistan.

I am not sure how he did but he was running for office in PA

Sean Parnell is a former U.S. Army airborne ranger who served in the legendary 10th Mountain Division for six years, retiring as a captain. He received two Bronze Stars (one for valor) and the Purple Heart

I've enjoyed Blake Banner's "Dead Cold" series. 24 or 25 books in box sets of 5 on Amazon. Curmudgeonly cop and younger hot detective work on cold cases.
