I think scallions or chives match well with duck. Like a scallion or chive salad-ish dish / condiment. Candied baby carrots (thin) seems to work well. Things that are on the sweeter side or the tart (how would you call scallions?) side to balance out the salty or oiliness of the duck.

I also do egg rolls with seared duck breast and slaw or kimchi.

Wild rice with cranberries would hit the spot for me. Yes on the roasted carrots. Some homemade popovers, and a green salad would complete it.

A little Duck Confit, with a wild berry glaze, wild rice as a side. Yakisoba with duck meat Ramen with duck and pork.

I'd have to second (or third or fourth...) the rice. You also might try acorn squash. It pairs well with the richness of the duck.
