I always liked Tom T Hall.

As much as I liked his music, I had no idea he wrote Harper Valley PTA.

These songs bring back some good memories.

I was standing on the side of the road with my (much older) cousin yesterday who is a pro musician and knew Tom T. Our friend and member of their (bluegrass) band drove up and said she just got a call that Tom T was dead. That was about 11 am yesterday.

Fun fact, Clayton and Delaney names come from 2 streets that intersected by his childhood home.

Tom had become kind of a recluse recently.
