Beverly Hills Cop is probably my favorite comedy, I’ll echo what Ronin said.

Looks like he still has the Hi Power and is in an 80s rusty Bronco instead of the "Crappy Blue Nova." Only thing better would have been a rusty K5 Blazer, but that might have been too nice. I'm in.

Well, at least Bruckheimer is behind it, given what he went through with Top Gun Maverick, he should have a clear idea of what works for 80's throwback revivals. It's been quite awhile where there was a solid buddy cops movie....actually, The Other Guys was pretty funny.

Well, if anything, at least it looks better than Beverly Hills Cop 3—possibly 2 as well.

I don't think he had the Nova at all after BHC 1.

I was trying to explain to my younger coworkers how movies used to have music that made me want to get into a shootout.

C’mon now

This guy is still a cop after 39 years?

I’m so tired of all these bullshit sequels 20 and 30 years after they should’ve actually been made.

Actually, there were sequels made.

Best I can hope for is it is better that #3. It’s on Netflix so it won’t cost anything but time.

I agree with you but there are some names behind this that indicate it could be decent. In these cases, set your bar very very low. That way if it’s actually worth a minor shit, you’ll be pleasantly surprised. If it’s better than nostalgic hokum then I’ll be content.
